SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device of protecting the steering wheel of a vehicle and can be used by car owners to improve performance characteristics. The casing is made of close texture and is a copy of the steering wheel rim with a slot on the reverse side along the entire circumference to ensure penetration into the surface of the steering wheel rim. The casing has a large number of perpendicular slots on the outside to facilitate installation, one or two slots for fixing in the spoke area and lugs in places where the steering wheel is properly gripped by the thumbs.
EFFECT: creation of an easily mounted casing for steering wheel of a vehicle, which maximally protects its surface from wear.
