FIELD: solar collectors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solar collector of the transpiration type, which comprises an absorbing panel having a base made of stainless steel, a surface layer of chromium oxide on the front surface of the base, and multiple through holes formed in the base and surface layer, the surface layer having a thickness of at least 70 nanometers and forming the outer surface of a transpiration-type solar collector. And also claimed is the building containing the specified collector installed on the wall or roof of the building in such a way that the surface layer forms the outer surface of the building, and the method of manufacturing the solar collector, according to which a stainless steel plate containing an initial layer of chromium oxide on the front surface is selected, a chemical or electrochemical build-up of the initial layer of chromium oxide on the front surface is performed to form an extended layer of chromium oxide, form a set of through holes in the plate and form a plate in the form of an absorbing panel of a solar collector of the transpiration type, while the extended layer of chromium oxide forms the outer surface of the solar collector of the transpiration type, and the stage of chemical or electrochemical build-up of the initial chromium oxide is carried out before or after the stage of forming multiple through holes.
EFFECT: invention is supposed to reduce heat loss due to radiation into the atmosphere, provide protection from ultraviolet light to prevent fading and destruction of the coating, increase the service life.
