FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and namely to genetics and rheumatology and can be used to predict effectiveness of treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with olokizumab. The level of expression of epigenetic markers in blood plasma obtained from a patient with rheumatoid arthritis is determined: miR-26b, miR-451, miR-522. With the obtained values miR-26b <-13.92, miR-451 <-12.08, miR-522 <-17.46 an effective clinical response to olokizumab therapy is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict effectiveness of rheumatoid arthritis treatment with olokizumab by determining predictors of development of an effective clinical response to olokizumab treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis - epigenetic markers.
