FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to genetics and rheumatology, and is intended to predict the effectiveness of treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with olokizumab. Genotyping of 27 polymorphisms in 18 genes is performed. Polymorphisms are divided into three groups, the first of which includes polymorphisms associated with an early response to olokizumab treatment, the second group includes polymorphisms associated with a late response to olokizumab treatment, and the third group includes polymorphisms associated with hepatotoxicity. Genotypes are determined for each of the indicated polymorphisms of the studied genes and the occurrence of associated alleles in homozygous and heterozygous states is assessed in accordance with a point scale, assigning points in accordance with Table 1. The sums of scores K1, K2 and K3 are calculated for each of the three groups of polymorphisms, accordingly, with the obtained values of K1>6 or K2> 7 and with a value of K3 <5, high efficacy of treatment with olokizumab is predicted.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to predict the effectiveness of the use of the drug olokizumab in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis based on the results of molecular genetic analysis.
