FIELD: virtual communication networks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of modeling communication networks; it can be used in the design of communication systems and networks at the physical and logical level. In the claimed solution, the initial graph of the physical network under study is formed with a given number of graph vertices and branches, the parameters of the bandwidth of each communication line are set, the data transfer process in virtual networks is modeled, and the parameters of the memory and computing capacity of the equipment at each communication node are set. The locations of correspondents of existing virtual communication networks and the intensity of the load generated by correspondents, routing algorithms, the total time of one statistical experiment, the composition and structure of the corporate management system newly connected to the physical communication network, determine the remaining resource of the elements of the physical network.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of means and methods for modeling virtual communication networks with the required quality of service and reducing the time of modeling the next virtual network.
