FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in the field of electrical engineering for testing power generating plants that supply consumers in parallel operation, both among themselves and with an industrial network. The device contains test equipment, control units, industrial network input, process load connection and load measurement, process load and control communication bus. The test equipment is made in the form of a power switching unit and a software module for emulation of an electric generator set, united by a common control bus. The industrial network input unit is equipped with an additional output connected to the power switching unit from the test equipment. The outputs of the test equipment and the industrial network input unit are connected to the process load through the process load connection and load measurement units and are intended to be connected to the output of the tested generating set. The control unit is equipped with an additional input-output intended for connection to the input-output of the control system of the tested generator set. The control communication bus connects the control unit input-output to the generator set emulation software module, industrial network input units, process load connection and load measurement, respectively.
EFFECT: exclusion of possibility of failure of the generator of the tested electric generator set due to its overload in terms of the reactive component of the total current in the event of an unpredictable decrease in the voltage of the industrial network.
