SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum sealing technology and sealing technology. The device for connecting conical flanges contains several links connected to each other in a row by means of a tape, a system for connecting the links into a closed ring and adjusting the tension, and the links are made with possibility of covering the tightened conical flanges. Moreover, each link is made with an internal profile in the form of two opposite conical surfaces, and the slope angle of each conical surface is close to 90°-α, where α is the slope angle of the cone of the collapsible flanges. The system for connecting the links into a closed ring and adjusting the tension is made in the form of two elements. The first element provides quick fixation of the device on the flanges, and the second element provides the necessary adjustment of the belt tension.

EFFECT: simple and easy-to-manufacture device ensures fast and reliable connection of tapered flanges, including with frequent and multiple cycles of mounting / dismounting of the device on the connecting flanges, while providing the required degree of vacuum.
