In the method of imaging the energy flow between an engine and a battery in a hybrid vehicle, an engine and battery icons and a flow icon between the engine icon and the battery icon representing the energy flow are displayed. The icon is displayed when the engine is stopped and when the speed thereof is equal to, less than or greater than the reference rotation speed.
