SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of producing anionic polymeric sorbents with magnetic properties and can be used for the localization of arsenic-containing compounds and provides for the possibility of subsequent detoxification of lands for various purposes. Composite sorbent contains highly dispersed magnetite synthesized in the matrix of a natural polymeric binder, as which it contains polyfunctional fulvic acids. Mass ratio of magnetite and fulvic acid is from 4:1 to 6:1.

EFFECT: sorbent has a high sorption capacity and magnetization of more than 65 Gs.
