FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of polymer materials for packaging and concerns a high-shrinkable, high-strength packaging product showing a directional tear. The packaging product contains a shrink film having a total free shrinkage at 85°C of at least 90%. The film has an inner sealing layer, an outer polyester layer, and an inner oxygen barrier layer. Part of the film contains a cross-linked polymer mesh. At least one layer of the film contains a mixture of incompatible polymers. The product has tear initiators. The packaging provides a complete post-shrink tear from the tear initiators to the opposite edge of the product in order to extract the product easily. The film has an instrumentally measured fracture energy of at least 0.65 J/mil, and/or an instrumentally measured maximum impact resistance of at least 66 N/mil, and/or a penetration resistance of at least 8 lb./sq. inch.
EFFECT: invention provides for the creation of a packaging made of a thin film with a high shrinkage level, which is easily opened along the entire length after shrinkage by manually tearing along the entire length in the direction of processing, and at the same time is strong enough to withstand improper handling during processing, transportation and handling, and the production of which minimizes costs and waste release into the environment.
