FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for the production of low-carbon steel with a sulfur content [S] ≤ 0.0015% in a ladle furnace. At the preliminary stage of slag processing, the bottom blowing rate in the ladle is adjusted from 45 Nl / min to 55 Nl / min, and after the furnace lid is closed, the bottom blowing rate in the ladle is maintained from 150 Nl / min to 200 Nl / min. In an intermediate step during the bottom electrode treatment, the ladle bottom blow rate is maintained from 250 Nl / min to 400 Nl / min, and the total amount of ladle slag is maintained from 12 kg / t to 14 kg / t of steel. Aluminum wire is added to the surface of the slag in separate portions, while for the formation of slag, each portion contains 0.12-0.15 kg / t of steel-aluminum wire, after the slag of the upper part of the ladle turns white, the energy supply is stopped. The ladle bottom blowing rate is maintained between 500 Nl / min and 600 Nl / min. At the final stage, the bottom blowing rate ranges from 150 nl / min to 200 nl / min.
EFFECT: invention allows during the entire melting process in the ladle furnace to maintain the percentage of carbon within 0.015% and to optimize the modes of power supply and bottom slag blowing.
