FIELD: converter equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of converter technology, in particular to drivers of thyristor switches. The technical result of the claimed invention is higher reliability of control by implementing thyristor key current monitoring and continuous diagnostics of the thyristor key in its on and off operating modes. The thyristor key driver is used to control thyristors and improves control reliability due to the fact that the thyristor key driver for high-voltage converters contains a power source (1), a driver voltage control unit (2), the first and second outputs of which are connected to the inputs of the logic unit (11), an optocoupler (6), the input of which is connected to the control input of the driver, and its output is connected to the corresponding input of the logic unit (11) and one of the inputs of the amplifier (5), the outputs of which are respectively connected to the control electrode and the cathode of the first thyristor (7). The thyristor voltage monitoring unit (12) is connected by its input to the output of an external resistive divider (13), and the output is connected to the corresponding input of the logic unit (11). The thermal protection unit (16) is connected by its input to an external thermal sensor (17), and the output is connected to the corresponding input of the logic unit (11). LED emitters (18) are connected to the corresponding outputs of the logic unit (11), and there is an opto-emitter (20). In this case, a diagnostic unit (19) and an additional channel of the control circuit of the second thyristor (10) are introduced.

EFFECT: better control thanks to implementing thyristor key current monitoring and continuous diagnostics of the thyristor key in its on and off operating modes.
