FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring of high-voltage valve converter switch condition includes a unit of resistors, a unit of signals measurement, and power switches of the high-voltage valve are divided into two parts, forming a middle point joined to the common supply bus of the signals measurement unit. At one side from the middle point the current-limiting resistors are connected to the first outputs of the high-voltage valve power switches, and at the other side - to their second outputs. The first outputs of each resistor in the resistors unit are connected to the common supply bus of the signals measurement unit, and their second outputs are connected accordingly to the second outputs of the current-limiting resistors and inputs of the signals measurement unit, outputs of which are connected to the outputs of the optical transmitter. The device to monitor condition of the high-voltage valve converter switches comprises a temperature sensor, the body of which form a thermal contact with the power switch body.

EFFECT: reduction of consumed power and cost of device, simplification of design, expansion of functional capabilities.
