FIELD: lubrication systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for modifying lubrication systems. The method for thermal-metal-cladding of the surface of the locomotive wheel crest is implemented by the system of feeding the crest-rail-lubricator device to the surface of the wheel crest. For thermal-metal-cladding of the working surfaces of the locomotive wheel bandages, a layer of metal Al, Zn, Cu, Fe, Pb or its alloy, with frictional properties having a hardness lower than the hardness of the metal of the working surfaces of the locomotive wheels, is applied by means of technological equipment in the form of a hopper with thermal-metal-cladding briquettes consisting of metals Al, Zn, Cu, Fe, Pb, Li or their alloys having a hardness lower than the hardness of the metal of the working surfaces of the locomotive wheel bandages. The mentioned briquettes may contain a core of thermoplastic adhesive with functional additives for example, graphite or graphene in the ratio of: soft metal is 5-100%; eco-friendly thermoplastic adhesive is 0-95%; eco-friendly functional additives are 0-60%. The conservative drive is a spiral spring made of n plates of variable stiffness. The ends of the plates on the inner turn are connected to each other, and on the outer turn, the plates are not connected to each other and have limited freedom of movement in the plane of fixing the springs relatively to the hopper. One of the plates on the outer turn is connected to the hopper case.
EFFECT: traction force of the locomotive increases during its movement.
