SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for emulating the pressing of directional arrows on a keyboard, joystick, or the movement of a computer mouse connected to a computer device, depending on the user's movement in space. In the method, the movement in space of at least one part of the user’s body is determined using at least one external sensor, with the help of a computing module located inside the specified external sensor, the received data is processed, converting information about the movement of the user’s body in space into one of four options for the direction of movement corresponding to pressing the direction arrows: “forward-backward”, “left-right” on the keyboard, joystick, or the corresponding movement of a computer mouse, with the help of the specified external sensor, a signal is transmitted to the computer device that simulates the corresponding pressing of the direction arrows on the keyboard, joystick, or the corresponding movement of the mouse.

EFFECT: provided is ability to emulate the pressing of directional arrows on the keyboard, joystick, or the movement of a computer mouse.
