FIELD: polymeric material production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a polymeric material with open pores. This method includes preparing a polymer solution, adding a template, removing a solvent, shaping the material, and removing a template. The polymer is polypropylene. The solvent is toluene. The template is paraffin wax. The solution is prepared with a polymer concentration of not more than 3.5 wt%, with a polypropylene: paraffin ratio of 1:2-7, a temperature of 95-110°C and a stirring intensity of 800-1200 rpm until a homogeneous solution is formed. The resulting solution is cooled naturally to a temperature of 20-27°C and the precipitated gel-like precipitate is separated by filtration. The material is formed from the gel-like precipitate and the residual toluene is removed from it, then the paraffin is removed by extraction with methylene chloride. Then carry out drying from the residues of methylene chloride.

EFFECT: invention reduces the labor intensity of manufacturing, simplicity of hardware design and obtaining material with a given porosity; macroporous with pore sizes in the range of 300-700 nm, predominantly similar in geometric shape to the presence of polypropylene filaments; with high values of contact angles in relation to water; limited water permeability.
