SUBSTANCE: method of manufacture of a food product, e.g., chewing gum, includes obtaining a mass of a food product, forming said mass into a food product structure with a required shape using a forming unit and applying a packaging material to the surface of said food product structure, wherein said food product structure continues to contact with the part of said forming unit.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased productivity and reduced manufacturing time of the product due to eliminated conditioning prior to packaging.
