SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of separating the cut section from the continuous main part of the chewing gum structure, which includes forming a notch line on the continuous main part of the chewing gum structure to form a cut section on the main part of the chewing gum structure and applying force to the trimmed section by means of the force generating device to separate the trimmed section from the main part of the chewing gum structure along said incision line. Said incision line is an incision extending through the chewing gum structure to a depth smaller than the entire height of the chewing gum structure, and said trimmed section is located between the notch line and the outer periphery of the main part of the chewing gum structure.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at efficient separation of the cut section from the continuous main part of the chewing gum structure.
