FORCED-COOLED DIODE LASER EMITTER FOR EXECUTING THERAPEUTIC AND COSMETOLOGICAL MEASURES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B18/20

Abstract RU 2750838 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser technology in medicine and cosmetology and constitutes a laser apparatus for cosmetic and/or therapeutic treatment of human or animal skin intended to remove hair and/or stop or reduce hair growth. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that the apparatus includes: an optical waveguide, a metal radiator, cooling thermoelectric elements, semiconducting laser emitters. The apparatus is also equipped with a forced cooling system providing the possibility of cooling to temperatures close to 0°С in operating condition and leading to an increase in the peak power of optical emission, also allowing to increase the emission energy without traumatising the skin, improving the efficiency of selective impact.

EFFECT: cooling the radiator leads to a decrease in the temperature of semiconductor laser emitters, thus, to an increase in the generated peak power of optical emission and also to an increase in the mean time between failures and an increase in the operating resource of the laser emitter.
