SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method for treating vegetative plants is characterized by the fact that the treatment of plants is carried out with optical diffraction laser radiation of a semiconductor laser pointer with a power of 150 mW, a wavelength of 650 nm in the red wavelength range, and treatment of plants is carried out once in the phase of leaf appearance at night between 23:00 and 1:00 for 30 seconds.
EFFECT: invention accelerates the period of vegetative development of plants, which leads to an increase in yield.
