FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and relates to a method for remote monitoring of vegetation from a UAV. The method is characterized by the fact that a UAV hovers above the selected area to be monitored at a height of 10 meters and from the remote monitoring device mounted on the UAV emits pulse-width modulated pulses with a total duration of 1550 ms, which excite the fluorescence of vegetation chlorophyll in the selected area of the field. Secondary radiation with a fluorescence wavelength, which is in the field of view of the receiving telescope of the remote monitoring device, is directed to the spectrometer and further amplified by an image intensifier. The obtained information about the spectra is stored on a flash drive with further processing at the workstation.
EFFECT: reducing the time of measurements, increasing their efficiency and providing the possibility of carrying out measurements in one measurement cycle.
