SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an underground system for collecting and temporarily storing garbage, having a lift for garbage containers. The underground garbage storage system contains a caisson (15) and a lift with a cage (1) that can be moved vertically and is made with a lower platform (4) designed to install at least one garbage container (16), and an upper platform (2) that covers the inside of the caisson. At least one through hole is made in the upper platform, above which a garbage receptacle is installed (5). The lift cage (1) is equipped with a middle platform (3) located between the lower (4) and upper (2) platforms, designed to accommodate at least one garbage container. In this case, the lift is designed to fix the position of the lift stand in at least three positions, namely when the upper platform is located at ground level, when the middle platform is located at ground level and when the lower platform is located at ground level.

EFFECT: reducing the area occupied by the underground garbage storage system and making it possible to double the amount of garbage received.
