FIELD: removal and processing of solid wastes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an underground system for collection and storage of garbage (wastes) having elevator for garbage containers, as well as to a method for its disinfection through ultraviolet radiation. System of underground storage of solid domestic wastes contains an underground part, in which with the possibility of vertical movement there is installed stand (4) with a horizontal bottom platform and upper platform (5), made with at least one hole, above which urn (8) is fixed. System is equipped with forced exhaust ventilation (7) and facilities for sanitary treatment of system. First sanitizing means of the system used is at least one recirculator (9) equipped with an ultraviolet bactericidal lamp with wavelength of ultraviolet radiation of 205 nm to 315 nm, intended for air pumping through it in vertical or horizontal direction. Second system sanitizing means used is at least one recirculator (10) equipped with ultraviolet bactericidal lamp with wavelength of ultraviolet radiation of less than 200 nm, generating ozone installed with possibility of vertical movement and possibility of fixation in extreme raised and extreme lowered position. As the third sanitary treatment means of the system there used is at least one recirculator (11) equipped with ultraviolet bactericidal lamp with wavelength of ultraviolet radiation from 205 nm to 315 nm, which interacts with air flows output by forced exhaust ventilation, and intended for deactivation of ozone generated by recirculator or recirculators generating ozone.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring a high degree of decontamination, high degree of deodorization and absence of unpleasant odours from the device for underground storage of garbage and from garbage itself, with safety of the disinfection process.
