FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to the technology of rolling and heat treatment of high-strength cold-rolled strip intended for manufacture of car parts by means of stamping. The method for production of cold-rolled and heat-treated strip from high-strength steel includes melting steel, casting the steel into slabs, hot rolling, pickling, cold rolling to the final strip thickness, heat-treating the cold-rolled strip after cold rolling with heating to a temperature of 720 to 840°C, sustaining for 10 seconds or more, cooling to a temperature not exceeding 100°C, heating to a temperature of 150 to 400°C, sustaining for 10 seconds or more and cooling to a temperature not exceeding 100°C, wherein the melted steel contains, wt.%: C 0.08 to 0.13, Si 0.3 to 0.8, Mn 1.8 to 2.3, Cr 0.2 to 1.0, P no more than 0.05, S no more than 0.025, Al no more than 0.1, iron and inevitable impurities the rest.

EFFECT: produced strip is characterised by high mechanical properties.
