FIELD: radio location.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of radio location, particularly to apparatuses for calculating the phase of a radar signal relating to receiver phased antenna arrays. To realize the technical result, an optical splitter and an electro-optical modulator are introduced into the apparatus comprising a functionally connected optical emission source, an electro-optical modulator, a photonic-electronic unit, an analog-to-digital converter and a calculator, the optical splitter is installed between the optical emission source and the electro-optical modulators, wherein continuous optical emission from the optical emission source supplied from the output of the optical splitter to the optical inputs of each of the two electro-optical modulators is supplied to the input of the optical splitter, and input analog electrical signals are supplied to the modulating inputs thereof from the outputs of the two adjacent receiving elements of the phased antenna array, the outputs of the electro-optical modulators are connected with the inputs of the photonic-electronic unit the outputs whereof are connected with the inputs of the analog-to-digital converter, and the outputs of the analog-to-digital converter are connected with the inputs of the calculator. A signal containing information about the PAA output signal phase and a signal containing no information about the phase are transmitted to the inputs of the calculator, comparison and combined processing whereof results in a signal corresponding with the value of the phase of the PAA receiving element output signal.

EFFECT: technical result is facilitated computational algorithm and improved accuracy of measurement of the output signal phase by the receiver phased antenna array (PAA).
