FIELD: radar; radio-photonics; integrated optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for creation of microwave devices used in telecommunication and radar systems. Device comprises n receiving antennas, n high-frequency switches, multichannel receiver, ADC, laser, n Mach-Zehnder modulators, high-frequency commutator controller and photodetector, wherein increase in the phase determining accuracy is achieved by the fact, that the signals modulating the laser radiation received by the antennae are transferred into the optical range, thereby eliminating the error introduced into the phase measurement process by the phase changers and caused by the non-uniformity of the amplitude-frequency characteristic of the phase shifter in the operating frequency range of the direction-finder.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining phase between receiving antennae and accuracy of determining direction of radiation source.
