FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automated thermoelectric system for thermo-odontometry with evaporation cooling. System consists of a set of acting elements, thermoelectric modules, a programmable power supply and control unit, temperature sensors and a portable switch. Actuating elements are sets of plates with wire resistance strain gauges and diagnostic plates. Plate with wire resistance strain gauges is made of medical steel in the form of a tooth row with ribs. Plate comprises wire tensoresistor sensors on upper surface, process channel for wires from strain gauges sensors on inner rib of plate, silicone layer on process channel and plate top surface. Tensoresistor sensors are connected to a programmable power supply and control unit. Diagnostic plate is made of a rigid material with low thermal conductivity in the form of a tooth row. On the diagnostic plate thermoelectric micromodules are fixed. Working junctions of micromodules are in thermal contact with aluminum plate. Aluminum plate is the base of heat-removing unit. Upper wall of the heat removal unit is made of material with high heat conductivity, and side walls are made of material with low heat conductivity. In heat removal unit cavity evaporative heat removal system is located. Plates with wire resistive strain gauges and diagnostic plates have a control notch for their correct placement in the patient's oral cavity. Programmable power supply and control unit is equipped with portable switch and digital display and is electrically connected to thermoelectric micromodules, wire resistive strain gauges and temperature sensors.
EFFECT: higher comfort of the procedure ensured by automation of thermo-odontometry and reduced time of diagnostic exposure, as well as reduced power consumption.
