FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automated thermoelectric system for liquid-cooled thermo-odontometry. System consists of a set of acting elements, thermoelectric modules, a programmable power supply and control unit, temperature sensors and a portable switch. Actuating elements are sets of plates with wire resistance strain gauges and diagnostic plates. Plate with resistance strain gauges is made of medical steel in the form of a denture with ribs. Plate with resistance-strain sensors has wire strain gage transducers, a process channel, a silicone layer on the process channel and the upper surface of the plate. Tensoresistor sensors are located on the upper surface of the plate and are connected to a programmable power supply and control unit. Technological channel for wires from resistance strain gauges is made on inner rib of plate. Diagnostic plate is made of a rigid material with low thermal conductivity in the form of a tooth row. Diagnostic plate is fitted with thermoelectric micromodules. Working junctions of micromodules are in thermal contact with high-conductive gel layer. Interlayer comprises a temperature sensor. Support junctions of thermoelectric micromodules have thermal contact with liquid heat exchanger. Plates have a control notch for their correct placement in the patient's oral cavity. Programmable power supply and control unit is equipped with portable switch and digital display and is electrically connected to thermoelectric micromodules, wire resistive strain gauges and temperature sensors.
EFFECT: higher comfort of the procedure ensured by automation of thermo-odontometry and reduced time of diagnostic exposure, as well as reduced power consumption.
