SUBSTANCE: ice removal device is proposed for the shell of a structural cable containing cores placed in the shell, includes a base, a support element and a drive system made with the possibility of pressing the support element to the cores, while the base is in contact with the inner surface of the shell, and to create vibrations between the support element and the base. A structural cable containing an ice removal device inserted into the shell and a method for removing ice from the shell of a structural cable for construction work is proposed.
