FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silane compounds having ester groups. A silane compound with the general formula SiR1n(R2)4-n (I) is proposed, where R1 is independently selected from groups having the formula -OCH(CH2COOR3)COXR3 (II), X is O, each R3 is independently selected from unsubstituted linear alkyl groups having 1-22 carbon atoms, each R2 is independently selected from monovalent alkenyl, alkyl or aryl groups having 1-18 carbon atoms, and n has the value of 2, 3 or 4. A method for producing the mentioned silane compound, a crosslinking agent and a curable composition based on the mentioned silane compound, and the use of the silane compound and the curable composition are also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed silane compounds can be used as neutral crosslinking agents in curable compositions based on polyorganosiloxanes, providing acceptable crosslinking properties without adversely affecting the storage of the curable compositions.
