FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a primer composition of partially hydrolysed and partially condensed alkoxysilane which can be used as a primer coat for improving surface adhesion of sealants for aerospace applications. Described is a primer composition containing partially hydrolysed and partially condensed alkoxysilanes, containing reaction products of reagents, which include amino-functional alkoxy silane, organofunctional alkoxysilane containing an organo group which is capable of reacting with a thiol group, water and alcohol. Described is a method of producing a ground composition, a multilayer coating comprising a first coating containing a primer composition, and a second coating containing reactive thiol groups and reactive alkyl groups, and a method for sealing the surface.
EFFECT: technical result is providing compositions of sealants, demonstrating properties suitable for use in aircraft and aerospace engineering.
