SUBSTANCE: present invention mainly relates to luggage rack locking systems for a vehicle, in particular a luggage rack for a vehicle, which is provided with a lock comprising at least two separate locking assemblies and which allows the locking assemblies of the lock to be locked independently of the others. The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that the declared luggage compartment lock system, containing locks for fixing the lid to the base; wherein each lock contains a lock cylinder operated by a key, each lock cylinder located on different sides of the trunk, as well as several movable locking elements located on different sides of the trunk at a certain distance from each other and made with the ability to move between the locked position and unlocked position, and one of the movable locking elements is located at each lock cylinder; wherein the said locking elements are made with the possibility of engaging, respectively, with the latches located on the base or the cover, during installation in the specified locked position. Each locking element is made consisting of a bolt and a latch installed on the axes of rotation. The deadbolt at one end has a projection inserted into the bent additional opening of the pair, and the latch at one end has a projection that is inserted into the other additional opening of the pair, while the deadbolt at the other end has two branches with projections, and the latch has a hook at the other end. made with the possibility of interaction with one of the protrusions on the branch of the crossbar by forming a lock coupling with it; each latch at the end contains a ring made of such a size that the latch hook and the ledge of the crossbar branch simultaneously enter it from both sides.

EFFECT: ability to close the latches in any sequence and in any order by simple snapping, regardless of the lock. Invention simplifies and speeds up the closing process.
