FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: loading hatch (1) cover locking mechanism comprises a hook, a handle with a retainer and a ring that is a handle, a limiter, posts, latch (5). Hook and posts are rigidly connected to the base, forming a single structure of bracket (3) fixed on roof (2) of the car. Limiter is located between the posts of bracket (3), is hingedly connected to the handle, forming a single structure of the lock rigidly fixed on the cover of loading hatch (1). In the closed position, the hook, handle and limiter are connected by a retainer, the handle is located in the limiter, and the bolt fixes the lock with the bracket.

EFFECT: invention increases reliability of the mechanism for locking the loading hatch due to creation of a stronger structure of the mechanism with enhanced degree of fixation and convenient arrangement of elements, which provides reliable locking of the loading hatch cover and is more convenient in operation.
