FIELD: mechanical, heat treatment of metals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical, heat treatment of metals. The method includes performing a hardening heat treatment of a part and a clamping device. Then, two clamping devices are installed on the part, the ends of each of which are connected using clamping screws. Then holes are made in the parts in order of decreasing their overall dimensions. After completing each hole, an edging of the appropriate size is welded into it. Low temperature tempering is performed. The inner diametrical surface of the part is machined and the clamping devices are dismantled.
EFFECT: increased productivity of processing thin-walled cylindrical parts while maintaining their specified geometric parameters due to a more uniform compression force around the entire circumference of the part, increasing its rigidity, reducing the overall dimensions of the device, increasing the versatility of the device, reducing the deformation of the part and reducing labor intensity.
