FIRE EXTINGUISHING MODULE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A62C35/00

Abstract RU 2751530 C1

FIELD: fire-fighting technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, namely to fire extinguishing modules. The module contains a multi-channel nozzle-sprayer with a central channel and a stepwise variable outer diameter, which creates a thinly sprayed flow of liquid extinguishing agent, which is contained in a sealed module body, equipped with a neck in the lower part and equipped with a gas-generating device with a gas-generating charge and a sealed body in the upper part, in which the gas-generating charge body is placed with a gap, an exhaust nozzle mounted by means of a nut at the outlet end of the neck and equipped with a filter element and a destructible membrane, compressed to the neck, having a hole with a sharp edge directed to the membrane and equipped with a cylindrical catcher of the cut-off part of the membrane, a cylindrical flow averaging device, placed between the outlet nozzle and the spray nozzle, a bracket. According to the invention, a gas-generating device with a gap filled with liquid is placed in a shell in which holes are made below a given level of the liquid extinguishing agent, and its upper part is equipped with through grooves, the gap between the body of the gas-generating device and the body of the gas-generating charge is filled with a fine bulk dielectric material, the upper part of the module body is equipped with a flange, the flange and the bracket are made with the possibility, after connecting to each other through a sealing gasket made of dielectric material, forming an input box equipped with a sealed cable entry consisting of a fitting rigidly connected with a flange, with a through hole having an internal thread, an annular element made of a dielectric material, the shape of the outer surface of which is a cylinder, from each of the ends passing into a truncated cone, a washer with an internal conical hole and a bolt for waisting the annular element, while the multi-channel nozzle-sprayer is made with a central channel that goes directly into the external environment, it is equipped with a centrifugal swirler in the form of a cylinder with an internal diameter larger than the diameter of the central channel, gas-dynamically communicating with the means of averaging the flow through holes located in its wall, and in the wall of the nozzle-sprayer through holes are made perpendicular to its central channel and evenly distributed at the same level along its side surface, and a hollow conical reflector is fixed above the holes with an expanding part downwards, or a multi-channel nozzle-sprayer is equipped with a central channel, conically tapering to the bottom of the spray nozzle, which is made with a blind central zone and with holes communicating with the central channel. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a module with extended operational capabilities by simultaneously creating conditions that reduce the temperature of gases coming from the gas-generating device into the volume of the module body to an explosion-proof level, and conditions that exclude, in the event of abnormal situations with the module, the ingress of sparks into the external space.
