FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire extinguishing, in particular, to a modular device for extinguishing fires with aquafog fire extinguishing liquid in industrial and public buildings, warehouses, offices, garages, including in underground mines, coal mines, hazardous because of firedamp and/or coal dust, etc. The fire extinguishing module of aquafog fire extinguishing liquid comprises a housing filled with the fire extinguishing liquid to form a space above it, and a cup. In the upper part of the housing a chamber with a gas generator is installed. In the cup a chamber is placed to form between them of an annular cavity communicating with the space above the fire extinguishing liquid. In the lower part of the module housing the exhaust nozzle with a diaphragm is mounted. In the annular space between the cup walls and the chamber the microencapsulated phlegmatiser and/or flame retardant are placed.
EFFECT: in actuation of the gas generator the microencapsulated phlegmatiser and/or the flame retardant are mixed with the working gases and reduce the concentration of combustible components of the working gases to the concentration at which the combustible components of the working gases become harmless thus providing an efficient and reliable fire extinguishing.
