FIELD: advertising.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technical means providing the demonstration of information material, and can be used to present outdoor video advertising in difficult hydrometeorological conditions characterized by a limited visibility range (fog, haze, smog, etc.). The invention is aimed at improving effectiveness of the demonstration of advertising products. The way to demonstrate advertising products is to form video information on the media screen. During the formation of video information, the optical transparency of the air is measured and, when it decreases to a pre-set minimum value, an aerosol-free air flow is created in the space adjacent to the media screen. The device for displaying advertising products contains a media screen transparent for the passage of air flow, made in form of LED modules connected to the control unit and fastened with a gap between them. The device is equipped with an optical air transparency meter and corona electrodes connected to a high-voltage power source, installed electrically insulated relative to the grounded enclosures of LED modules. There are a number of additional features that increase effectiveness of the proposed method and device.

EFFECT: technical result in the proposed invention is achieved due to the fact that in the area of the advertising demonstration space, air is cleaned from aerosols, high air transparency is provided for the passage of electromagnetic waves of the optical range. The displayed advertising information in good quality will be visible even in conditions of thick fog at a considerable distance from the place of its demonstration.
