SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the petroleum industry, particularly to a ground protection apparatus for borehole equipment used for corrosion protection of borehole equipment. The corrosive borehole unit contains borehole equipment and a ground protection apparatus directly or indirectly attached to the borehole equipment by means of a thread provided on the protruding end of the reinforcing element of the ground protection apparatus. The ground protection apparatus comprises an elongated protector of a substantially cylindrical shape and a reinforcing element of a substantially cylindrical shape extending through the entire protector and containing ends protruding beyond the protector, wherein both protruding ends are equipped with thread. Multiple grooves are provided therein on the surface of the protector. The reinforcing element is made composite and comprising at least two parts rigidly interconnected using a connecting element made in a substantially cylindrical shape, wherein the diameter of the connecting element is less than the diameter of the components of the reinforcing element.
