FIELD: chemical and petrochemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemical and petrochemical machine building, in particular to the designs of packings used in heat and mass transfer columns in the implementation of various processes, including the processes of rectification, absorption, condensation, heating, cooling, etc. Disclosed is a package of contact elements. The package includes a set of contact elements in the form of vertically installed corrugated permeable sheets, located parallel to each other. They contact each other with protruding corrugations. The corrugations of adjacent sheets in contact with each other are made diagonally in opposite directions. The package is fastened in the transverse direction with studs provided with fixation means at the end portions of the rod of the stud. The rod of the stud is threaded along its entire length with the ability to screw the stud into the package with the help of the thread. A contact device is composed of the indicated packages of contact elements, which can be installed in a sectioned cross-flow packed column of a gas-liquid or liquid-liquid system. The cross-flow packed column is made in the form of a natural gas purification absorber having a column-type cylindrical body. The body is divided from top to bottom into sections, in which horizontal support structures with internal contact devices installed on them are placed on the support nodes, which are stacked in rows in several layers with the surface of the package of contact elements overlapping the joints of the next row between the packages of contact elements of the previous row, as vertically, and horizontally by at least two heights of the corrugation of the contact element. Vertically and horizontally, the packages are fastened with vertical and horizontal support strips to form a wall.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures the elimination of vibration and bypassing of corrugated permeable sheets as part of a package of contact elements, which occurs due to cross movements of gas and liquid, thereby increasing reliability of fixing the packages of contact elements as part of a contact device to improve the complex of operational characteristics of a cross-flow packed column.
