FIELD: laser technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of laser technology. A laser with longitudinal diode optical pumping and transverse pumping of a liquid laser-active medium consists of a laser cavity, two diode pumping systems, and a cell connected to a forced circulation system. The laser resonator has two mirrors (3) for forming the laser beam and two optical decoupling elements (11) for separating the laser beam and the pump beam. Each diode optical pumping system has a diode pumping unit (1) matched with a pumping beam forming unit by means of a fiber-optic cable (6). The pump beam forming unit consists of a collimator (5) and a homogenizer (2) with the possibility of providing longitudinal laser pumping. After the homogenizer (2), the pump radiation beam has the shape of a regular quadrangle. The ditch has a system of light-transmitting partitions (9) and form two chambers (4). Chambers (4) have an inlet and outlet of the active medium with the possibility of ensuring the flow of the active medium in opposite directions. The forced circulation system has inlet (8) and outlet (9) nozzles connected to the cell, and two devices for pumping (10) the active medium.

EFFECT: invention ensures the high quality of the laser beam with other things being equal laser characteristics.
