METHOD FOR MEASURING THE FLOW PARAMETERS IN THE INHALER, THE INHALER AND THE SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61M15/00

Abstract RU 2751814 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a method for measuring the flow parameter when inhaling in the inhaler, wherein the capsule containing the medicinal composition is located in the inhaler, to a method application, the inhaler and the system containing inhaler. The method contains the stage of recognition of the collision parameter, which relates to collisions of the capsule and the inhaler. The method includes the stage of matching the collision parameter to the flow parameter when inhaling. Matching the collision parameter and the flow parameter when inhaling contains determining the characteristic of the recognized collision parameter and matching the characteristic of the recognized collision parameter to the flow parameter when inhaling. The characteristic contains one of the following values: the average value of the collision parameter, the peak value of the collision parameter and duration of the exceeding the threshold value of the collision parameter. The flow parameter when inhaling contains one of the following values: the peak flow when inhaling, the duration of flow when inhaling and the volume of flow when inhaling. The method is applied, in which the method is implemented at the same time with the supply of the medicinal composition to the inhaler user. The inhaler contains a sensor for recognition of the collision parameter, which relates to collisions of the capsule and the inhaler, and a processor for matching the collision parameter to the flow parameter when inhaling. The system contains the inhaler. The inhaler contains the sensor for recognition of the collision parameter, which relates to collisions of the capsule and the inhaler, as well as a device for receiving and transmitting data for receiving data from the external computer and transmitting data to the external computer. The external computer also contains a device for receiving and transmitting data for receiving data from the inhaler and transmitting data to the inhaler. The inhaler and/or the external computer contain a device for processing data for matching the collision parameter to the flow parameter when inhaling.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of a method for receiving the parameters of the user inhale in the inhaler based on capsules.
