FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to computerized methods for non-invasive detection of carbohydrate metabolism disorders (CMD) by heart rate variability (HRV) of a patient, wearable autonomous devices for their implementation, as well as to a method of screening the population to identify persons with signs of CMD on the basis of HRV. The cardio-signal is taken with the help of ECG and/or PPG. A sequence of time stamps is determined in the signal. In the resulting sequence, the time intervals between adjacent time stamps are determined and a cardiointervalogram (CIG) is obtained, which characterizes HRV. Conversion of the CIG is carried out by removing the linear trend of values to obtain a converted cardiointervalogram (CCIG), which characterizes nonlinear fluctuations of the heart rate. One should calculate for each CCIG statistical and spectral parameters of HRV. Computer processing of statistical and spectral parameters of HRV is carried out. Statistical and spectral parameters of HRV are compared with the reference parameters of healthy patients and patients with CMD. The decision on the presence of CMD in a patient is made according to the degree of closeness of the statistical and spectral parameters of HRV to the reference values of the parameters of patients with CMD. In the screening method, additional target indicators of sensitivity and specificity are set to determine the minimum required number of ECG and PPG of the patient being examined and the threshold value of the ECG and PPG with a sign of CMD, above which the presence of CMD in patients of the group is recognized.
EFFECT: invention ensures the detection of CMD by a cardiac signal, in contrast to the standard for detection of CMD by blood tests, which simplifies the mass screening of the population due to the "filtering" of patients: computer (non-invasive) separation of healthy patients from patients with pathology of CMD.
