FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: metal-ceramic silver-based composite for metal-ceramic selective oxygen membranes, and the method for production thereof is intended primarily for replacing silver in metal-ceramic composites based on δ-Bi2O3/Ag promising as selective oxygen membranes. The double-core core-shell nanocomposite Ag1-xCux@y(CuMn)z(P) includes a matrix of an AgCu-alloy with inclusions of a CuMn2-alloy and a complex oxide with high electronic conductivity P. The method for production includes a sequence of treatments - mechanical in energy-intensive mills or apparatuses equivalent in loading, thermal and for separation of nanopowders into fractions. The size of nanocrystallites of all components of the composite is selected as a grinding sufficiency criterion. Proposed is an optimal range of x, y, z describing the balanced composition of the composite.
EFFECT: provided is a possibility of producing a metal-ceramic composite for oxygen membranes with improved operational properties and durability.
