FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: ceramic-metal composite is described, which is produced by chemical interaction of a metal porous base and vapours of molybdenum oxide or tungsten oxide, with the common formula: (1-k)M·k(MOn·M'O3) or (1-k)(Fe·0.3Cr·0.2Ni)·k (Fe·0.3Cr2O2·0.4NiO·4.9M'O3), where M-Ni, Cu, Ti; M'-Mo, W; n=1, 2; 0.03≤k<1. The composite is produced by chemical interaction of a porous metal base at 600-750°C by vapours of molybdenum oxide MoO3 or tungsten oxide WO3 to produce an oxide layer, containing molybdate or tungstate of a metal in a base, with thickness of 4-189 mcm. A porous metal base is either nickel, or copper, or titanium, or stainless steel.
EFFECT: high strength of joined layers using simple and efficient method of production.
