FIELD: electrical engineering and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and power engineering, in particular to regulators of the transformation ratio of transformers. A method for changing the transformation ratio of a power transformer, including the connection of all taps of the transformer to the supply network through power electronic switches, one of which is kept open by means of a control unit; moreover, to change the transformation ratio in the control unit, a control circuit for power electronic keys is preliminarily formed on two solid-state relays, one of which is with normally closed contacts, and the other with normally open contacts, for connected and disconnected taps, then simultaneously power is connected to the solid-state relay, with the contact of one, the power electronic switch is opened and the connected tap of the transformer winding is connected to the mains, and the power electronic switch of the disconnected tap is closed with the contact of the other, and the disconnected tap is disconnected from the supply network.
EFFECT: reduction of the time for switching the supply network from one tap to another.
