SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering and electric power industry, in particular to the power transformers transformation ratio regulators. In a method of controlling transformer voltage under load, which includes control of supply circuit voltage, in which control unit is used to supply control pulses to bidirectional thyristor keys, each of which contains two counter-parallel connected thyristors, which are connected in circuits of branches of transformer windings, using current monitoring, current monitoring is performed in supply mains and time intervals are fixed, at which voltage and current of supply network have identical and different signs, phase shift between current and supply circuit voltage is measured and, depending on requirements for voltage control at transformer output and phase shift between current and supply circuit voltage, controlling corresponding two-way thyristor keys at corresponding fixed time intervals, and in the transformer under load voltage control device, comprising at least two bidirectional thyristor keys, current sensor, voltage sensor connected at the device input, connected to the bidirectional thyristor keys control unit, current sensor is connected in series with supply network and is connected to control unit of bidirectional thyristor keys.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification and improvement of reliability of transformer under load voltage control device.
