FIELD: electrical engineering; electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling the transformer voltage under load relates to the field of electrical engineering and electric power industry, in particular to the regulators of the transformation coefficient of transformers. A current flow circuit is formed by means of a controlled relay with normally closed contacts. Bidirectional thyristor switches connected to the terminals of a controlled relay with normally closed contacts are transferred to a current conducting state. The other bidirectional thyristor switches are transferred to a closed state. After that, the normally closed contacts of a controlled relay with normally closed contacts are opened and the voltage at the transformer terminal is controlled by switching bidirectional thyristor switches. Next, the bidirectional thyristor switches connected to the terminals of the controlled relay with normally closed contacts are transferred to the current conducting state. The other bidirectional thyristor switches are transferred to the closed state. The normally closed contacts of the controlled relay with normally closed contacts are closed. Then all bidirectional thyristor switches are transferred to the closed state.
EFFECT: reduction in the reverse voltage applied to the bidirectional thyristor switches of a semiconductor switch.
