FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in shell and tube heat exchangers. In a heat exchanger comprising: an outer body, at least one diaphragm placed therein, wherein multiple gas ducts pass through the through holes of said diaphragm to direct the combustion gas, wherein at least some of the through holes constitute a wide through hole (one hole) wherein two or more gas ducts can pass jointly through said hole, and the diaphragms: a main diaphragm, a first diaphragm and a second diaphragm are tightly connected with the inner peripheral surface of the outer body so as to prevent heating water flow between the outer peripheral surfaces of the main diaphragm, the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm and the inner peripheral surface of the outer body, thereby ensuring the flow of heating water along the path passing through the central hole of the first diaphragm, the wide through holes of the main diaphragm past the gas ducts surrounded by said wide through holes, and the central hole of the second diaphragm.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of stagnant areas of heating water flow.
