FIELD: dust control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of dedusting, irrigation of bulk materials during conveyor transportation at reloading points of industrial and civil objects. The technical result is the creation of a method for dust suppression during conveyor transportation of bulk materials, which makes it possible to safely operate the conveyor transporting bulk materials by monitoring the performance of the entire wetting composition supply system. The method of dust suppression in the conveyor transportation of bulk materials includes the control of electromagnetic valves, technologically connected to the control unit. The wetting compound consisting of water and a wetting agent is supplied through the spray nozzles when the bulk material is on the conveyor. Using the weight indicator, which sends a signal to the control unit, the amount of water supplied is adjusted. Water supply is controlled by means of a flow regulator in the high-pressure supply hose, directly depending on the weight of the bulk material located on the conveyor, until the flow is divided into wetting zones located above the conveyor and the place of direct reloading. Dosing of the wetting agent from the tank into the water stream is carried out up to the flow controller automatically by means of an ejector pump. In addition, dust and carbon monoxide concentration sensors are installed in the area of the conveyor. After mixing the water and the wetting agent, the flow meter is installed. The sensor readings are sent to the control unit, which is additionally connected to the conveyor start-up system. During the installation and adjustment of the equipment, the mutual dependencies of the flow meter, sensors and weight indicator figures and the permissible spread of their parameters to ensure the safe operation of the conveyor are determined based on the concentration of dust and carbon monoxide, which is also entered in the control unit. During the operation of the conveyor, when the indicators exceed the permissible range of parameters of at least one of the indicators, the control unit sends a signal to the start system to stop the conveyor and the flow controller to turn off the water supply until faults in any of the structural elements that supply the wetting compound to the bulk material located on the conveyor are eliminated.
EFFECT: creation of a method for dust suppression during conveyor transportation of bulk materials, which makes it possible to safely operate the conveyor transporting bulk materials by monitoring the performance of the entire wetting composition supply system.
