FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to clutches. The thermosensitive mechanical clutch for the fan drive of the cooling system of an internal combustion engine contains a split casing (1), a cover (2), a clamp (3), a support sleeve (5), a thrust bearing (6) and an angular contact bearing (7). A thermosensitive element (4), a flange (12) and a spring (13) are located between the cover (2) and the clamp (3). The thermosensitive element (4) is made in the form of a corrugation from a material with a shape memory effect.
EFFECT: invention provides simplified design and the ability to turn on the fan when the coolant temperature is higher than the set value.
